Was just checking out eBay and found the Don Johnson Model 15 that belongs to our new members. Pretty neat looking bus... a 45 foot model 15 with stainless on the side instead of aluminum.

Isn't the siding from an MCI? Does not look like Eagle siding to me.

Re: The Don Johnson Model 15
That is the same siding that was on the Model 20s like I had. It is similar to MCI and Prevost but the ribs are different sizes and spacing. I don't know if 15s could be ordered with it from the factory or if someone put this on when they did the conversion. I like the stainless pretty well. I think it is easier to keep clean than aluminum.
When I first saw this bus I thought it was an NJT 20 instead of a 15. It has the same stainless sides, rubber bumper moulding along the sides, rubber fenders instead of aluminum, pantograph bay doors, etc.. I figured someone had just stretched a 20. But apparently it is a 15.
I'm trying to figure out the engine door. Looks like it lays down in front of the engine instead of lifting up.

I did not realize the siding was different before . Think I like the 10 & 15 siding better. It seems to set them apart. I like the look of the mirrored aluminum like what is on Boomers.
