I have a friend with a GMC who uses automatic transmission fluid. Rubs it on with a rag and then wipes it off. Seems to work for him but I have not tried it on the Eagle.

Tried in a few spots and wow takes a few seconds with generic wd-40. I have to go back and do the rest,only did 1 of the double doors to compare, and back because it faces road. I took a pic of the door, I will post it in a little while
