TO MODULATE OR NOT TO MODULATE?
This pertains to a MUI-6V92TA .there is a fuel modulator on the left head of the DD, and I know it buffers the response of fuel when you stomp the go pedal some how.The question ,is it necessary or can it be removed? I think it was said some where that it was optional, is this true? Was this a feature on company buses to prevent lead footed drivers from wasting fuel accelerating from a stand still (Hot dogging) ?Does it's removal increase the rate of acceleration (wouldn't that be grand )regardless of the fact that you will waste more fuel the more you get after it?

Van, they are used to control smoke on take off, your engine in the bus now has one, the engine you have on the trailer doesn't.Fwiw we did not install Jim's back on his different engine, with a air throttle they are a PIA
good luck
