Tire air presure
I was checking my tire pressure yesterday when we came home from a trip and one of them was at 60lb. What is the best air presure 110 or 120? My tire size is 12R22.5 load range H.

Depends on your tire brand Manny I run my Toyo's(12R22.5) at 100 on the front and 110 psi on the rears and boggies

When I picked up the bus I asked the mechanic about this and he said 90 to 95 in a hot day for all tires.

I run mine at 100 psi cold, front (Goodyear) and rears (Bridgestone). It seems to work for us. It also depends on tire manufacture like Clifford said and also load ratings.

Thanks Clifford I will do mine the same way... I have Good Years on the rear and some Chinese brand on the front. My problem now is that I had the tire guy line up the stems so it would be easy to air up so now I need to get longer extensions. The guy that had my Eagle before me had the kind that Camping World sell and they leak the air out.

I found it interesting that you are running 22.5's. Mine are 24.5's. I wonder what everyone else runs & does it affect the speedometer readings, etc. I'll put a post out there for some input.I am also considering the dual tire pressure equalizers. You install them on your duals & it monitors & equalizes both tires. If air is needed you add it at one inlet for both. Available at fine fleet enterprises such as fleet world, etc. I will be adding aluminum wheels at some point so I will be considering them at that time.

I run 90- 100 lbs. The manufactor recommends 120.
We sleep on our bus while it is moving, and all the entertainer bus people recommend 100 for a soft ride.They say it cost you appro. 5% tire life.
Our friends who have 45' Prevost and MCI's do the same.

John, My Eagle came with that size tires I know my speedometer is off by 10 mph so I use my GPS for my mph. I have been told that the 22.5 is better for the wt may be someone can chime on this. Hey Jim how are you? How are those concerts doing I hope the Lord is blessing you on the road and keeping you safe. I have heard the samething about air pressure and the ride I see why you do it. I know that Eagle you drive has a great ride LOL...

Hey Manny,We are doing great, God has been good to us, working more than I want too.......I'm old.
We have this week off and I am enjoying it,playing with the G-kids and getting some paint work done on the bus,as you know, bugs at 75 mph will destroy a front cap every two to three years.
The old bus is doing great, no major expenses in two years and 200,000 miles.Preventive maintence is getting higher every month though.
I hope everything is great with you and Darlene.

FWIW, Eagle recommended 105 psi cold on the fronts and 90 psi cold on the drives and bogies/tags.
