Elusive door latch

Post by BoxcarOkie »

I am looking for one of these, mine is inoperative and it doesn't want to lock, I have looked all over my area to no avail, so I was wondering if anyone might know of a place in their area I might find a replacement. None of the RV dealers in my area clearly have a clue as to what it is that I am searching for.

The interior looks like this:

Any help would be appreciated.

Wow!

Now that was fast, we are talking Hong Kong Second fast. We ought to get you one of those Staples buttons that sez .... "That was easy."

Thanks Cliff, I will go to the website and see if I can order one for my old hoopie.

Often this gets so frustrating, yesterday I put over 100 miles on my truck looking for some replacement screens for Daddy's Hobby to no avail. I did see one old bird sitting in the insurance yard, plate in the front missing, towed there and it was sitting all by itself, fate unknown.

I hate it trying to run down all these loose ends, sometimes it is easy and often, hard, but that is what makes it worthwhile in the end I guess.

Oh no! I already ordered it from the other source at $84 and some change. Should have waited I guess, but the important thing is we have it now fellas, before it wasn't working at all and now I have two replacement sources if the need should arise.

Thanks, I appreciate it.

The important thing is you ordered it! I had to replace mine a little over a year ago, so I know what you are going through.

Your link may have provided some fruit after all, they have screens listed and provided the measurements for some, I might be able to solve my dilemma on that item here. Locally I am drawing the big goose egg (zero). I will measure mine today among other things.
