Hey Andy,

We laid down 15# roofing felt over the plywood, running up the walls at the corner a bit, overlapping the seams.

We didnt' use a carpet strecher, felt there was not enough floor area to make it worthwhile. I did staple along the edges with an air stapler to pull it down tight on the tack strip. So far so good!

Other than that have fun! 8-)

I used a soundproofer under the carpet instead of pad in the bedroom. The bedroom carpet is as soft as the rest of the carpet. I think it helps with the road noise. I have nothing to compare it to.

Good Luck Wayne
