Oil filter bracket 8V71

Post by buscrazyinFL »

I still have the paper oil filter and I want to change to the spin oil filter so I can do my own oil changes. Is it better for a shop to do the conversion or can I do it myself, and if I can (do it myself) does anybody know the part number from DD for the conversion? Maybe someone out there even has one for sale or can advise me on the best place to buy one. Also, when I do change to the spin oil filter what is the part number for the filter itself, and on a 8V71 how many qts of oil does it take?

Happen to have a spare converted Eagle sitting around? haha
