Debar, The mistake was to not wrap it in lead, not running through the roof. I will run the next one through the roof. I used 1 1/2 steel pipe inside of a 3 inch double walled vent pipe. That will protect anything from the heat. I can put my hand on the vent pipe and it is the same temp as the the surrounding air. The use of lead over that will cut the noise to zero.

Thanks Wayne, you had me thinking for a minute there. Boy do I hate that :) I am glad that I can still get that up and over the roof line.
