What is this?

Post by Eagle obsessed »

This mystery object was mounted in the front of the curbside driver wheel well. It was hooked to one 1/8" or so air line. (the one I had to cut through, of course :? )

Do I need to keep it? What was it's job? I'm stuck...

Air regulators, do you have air wipers and maybe a air washer?

Yes the bus has air wipers. Not sure what an air washer is?
And not sure why it was mounted in the drive axle wheel well?
There was a special aluminum box that looked factory "protecting" it from the elements :?

Also there was just one air line heading into it, so I am assuming that it is safe to cap off the air line?

Thanks

Mason, Sorry, I read right over the drive location. Wiper regulators should be at the front air tank. The ones you are mentioning may be for the OTR A/c and water supply tank.
