Here is my dilema, as I wrote on ED's post, I took my Eagle in to have my brakes adj and checked. The right side chamber was bad so it was replace with the 3030. I would like to eventually replace the left side (driver side) but there is not enough room because the transmission is too close to the brake chamber as you can see in the pics below. The DD3 would fit perfectly, but I don't want to paid that high price ($900). Originally, my eagle was stick shift and that is part of the problem. Has anyone tried to install a 3030 on the transmission side and how did you modify it to fit?
(The pictures below were taken from a shop pit, sure wish I had one of those, LOL)

New chamber installed on right side (with plenty of room)

Re: Brake Chamber Dilema
Manny, I don't know what's going on there I have plenty of room on my 05 but Doyes is a 77 model with a 8v71 and 740 and they have fliped his cans they are on the front of the axle.you can always shorted the bracket and use a shorter throw on the pod. good luck
