New to the forum but I have had my 82 mod.10 for 13 years.
Any advice of restoring my oxidized siding? I have always used wd-40.

Re: aluminum siding
Hi Mickey. Glad you made it here and that Dale was able to help you sign on.
First of all, all OEM Eagle siding is anodized. Unless someone has stipped the anodizing off, there is not much you can do to make it real shiny.
Some folks talk about taking the anodizing off (not sure how you do that), but then you have raw aluminum that needs to be polished quite often (huge job).
I had read about WD-40 and tired it. For me, it made one heck of a mess. I finally washed it off with some sort of solvent and now use car wax to get the finish as good as possible.
I have tried several waxes, but my favorite is Rain-X Fast Wax (use it on my aliuminum wheels as well).

Re: aluminum siding
Remember, it will not look like polished stainless steel. However, if your siding is in good condition, it can be made to look very good.
