I'm ready. . .and Cindy is running in circles like our Border Collie. And, to top it off, she's babysitting grandkids so she's bouncing around like a superball in a coffee can! We'll be looking forward to seeing everyone out there.

Eddie-

When you plan on leaving. . .we plan on leaving Riverside area around 10-11 on Wednesday (if all goes well). If that's along your plans, we can hook-up somewhere out your direction.

Ok everyone! We decided today to pull the trigger and head to Quartzsite for our first rally. Talked to Jim Shepard, Ed Taylor, and Carroll Hansen in the past few days on the low-down! We are going to just show up (Wed. evening 1/20) take our chances on a prime camp spot and take it all in! Of course we want to be by other Eagles but we'll take what we get and won't throw a fit. Just show up and spend some time with a bunch of people that share the same disease as us! We're coming from Paso Robles, CA and probably going thru Needles/Vidal Junction to get there. If anyone has any suggestions about anything that might enhance our trip...let us know. We can't wait to experience what it will be like to socialize with a bunch of bus nuts!! See ya in Quartzsite.

Randy, you will be passing by me but we will be in Quartszite before 1 -20 and if you need fuel or propane Parker is the place to buy 2nd fuel on the right for fuel with a good price propane a little down the road on the left.
I have got to meet you anyone that would even mention Ed Taylor or Carroll Hansen in the same sentence is out there LOL.
Is Carroll coming this year and does he have the slide installed yet in his 4104,what mistake that was telling Carroll it could not be done

good luck

Randy and Kelley,
As Clifford suggested subtly, I would not take the Vidal Junction route, it is not bad, but the Parker, AZ side is much better with more services if needed and an easier drive.
I agree with Clifford on the comment of talking to Ed and Carroll, two of my favorite bus people.
Anyone from the area so close to San Luis Obisbo can't be all bad. Our youngest is an Architect, that went to Cal Poly.
Looking forward to meeting the two of you.
Drive safely. See you there.

Art and Cindy, It looks like we will be in the Palm Springs area on the 15 th. We are going to Colton to get a few things fixed on the coach tues, but we will not be on the road to Quatrzite till early Thursday morning. Gonna leave at 6 30 am. Should be there around 8 30. Looks like we will miss you for the trip out there. Is there such a thing as saving a spot ?? If so I would like to be close to all the Eagle nuts. Lets talk before you guys leave. See everyone soon !!
