Sounds like the nightmare I had with Infinity Coach. At least 3 pages of items that don't work, were installed wrong, or shoddy workmanship. Take the RH windshield for example. They advertise that they are experts, but they didn't know to install the glass in the cap first, then mount the cap to the bus. In fairness, the manufacturing process at R&M leaves a lot to be desired. The process is such that the caps are not precision made and no two are exactly alike. (Good folks tho). This means that a lot of manipulating, cussing and fitting goes into getting the cap and glass to fit perfectly, but it goes with the territory. Some re-fiberglassing is not uncommon. On mine they just sent it down the road with the outside corners not even making contact with the cap. The gasket was around the glass, but not the cap. A few miles later when it cracked and I investigated (which I should have done before accepting it) I discovered that the whole windshield was about to fall out. Nothing was holding it in on the top and bottom outside corners, you could stick your finger right out into the air. I had Mike Wilson add material to the corners when it was painted so the windshield fit properly. At some point, BCO, when your not as mad, you should think about getting a good bus collision repair shop to repair your cap so future windshields will fit, it sure ain't feasable to grind the glass each time. After what I went through, I sure feel for ya brother. Infinity: buyer beware.

BCO, I feel for you but I saw Joe Melroy at our rally at the Eagle factory go through that with his they broke several before they cut and ground 2 to make fit.
All the buses have that problem sooner or later.
I would do like Boomer recommends and have the frames fixed to match the windshield not the windshields to match the frame.
I'll check with Sonnie and get the Trailways guy # for you

good luck

Sorry Paul Everything is fine here having a great time. I cannot post pictures from the bosses computer it doesn't have the software to down load the pictures from the camera. I will post some when I get home. There are about 20 busses here a couple of SOB's and a couple of people that stopped by to say hi.

Thank You Wayne
