Our Lake Mead Get Away

Post by van »

Hey Everybody :D Just finished our little get away down to Lake meade this past week, and boy what a time we had. it kinda being off season down at the lake afforded us the opportunity to have a nice time and no crowd's. the weather was exceptional too. I really don't have much to report from our stand point as far as mileage or performance except to say the engine wasn't even warmed up by the time we traveled the 5 or so miles to the location from our place, it did perform good, and thoroughly warmed up when we returned home , back up the hill. We sure did have a treat this time out as we are now able to plug into 30 amp service, and basically all the accoutrement (there's that word again  ) that we have at home. so let me just lay the photos on you so I don't bore any one with my ramblings lol!

Wow! Great place! What a location! Scenery made all the more beautiful with two big ole red Eagles in the pictures! Would it be wrong to say I was a little jealous? No? How about a lot jealous? haha

It would be a good location for a winter meet, the summer heat there Van, as we both know, is pretty terrible. But think of the night life!

Your old hoopie is looking good sport, you should be the do-it-yo'self hit of the rumble in the desert.

How low is the lake now?

No I didn't say that ... Must have been some other guy.

Hi All!

The RV park at Lake Mead was awesome! All the comforts of home, beautiful scenery, hookups and the Management was very helpful. Everyone should consider at least a one niter here just for the beautiful sunrise. Did I mention QUIET? Check it out!

SOOOO you mean there is NO TRAIN rolling thru there at all hours tooting the horns????

Tony will definitely make us put this one on the must stay at place if that is the case.
