Getting ready for pickup and first trip

Post by Timkar »

Flying to Yuma on saturday to get familiar with the "new to us" 65 Eagle. We'll stay there for a couple of days (definitely going to In/Out)and then head to Las Vegas. While there we'll stop and see Gary at B&B who did a lot of the work on it. After a couple of days in Vegas head it on home for British Columbia. Hopefully will be a great trip. :D :D :D :D (Last time I did a long distance pick up of an MCI with a 6V92 the blower drive gear stripped 2000 miles from home)

Tim, you will be coming by the house on your way to Vegas stop and spend the night we are 4 miles north of Needles on highway AZ 95 Mohave Valley about 80 miles from Vegas 928-788-3029 call me if you have any problems.
2 other Eagle owners just left here Jim Smith and Dave Beesey this place is always open and the food is not bad either lol.
If coming through Parker AZ there is a truck stop on the left across from the rail depot that always has good fuel prices.Fuel get higher the more North you go

Good luck

Glad to hear you are finally going to pick up your new to you Eagle!

Have a safe trip and hope the gremlins stay home, where ever that is!

You had to mention In/Out, one of favorite places for a burger when we lived in SoCal!

Lots of Eagle nuts on the way, you just gotta take the time to see them all! Clifford does cook a mean burger! ;)

Enjoy the ride! 8-)

Thanks Guys, looking forward to it. I have been checking out CasinoCamper for Vegas and the rest of the trip. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations?
