We've switched to handheld CRS radios for our car runs. They are cheaper so more people are likely to have them, plus they are handheld so you don't have to wire in antennas and stuff. It's still not as fun as CBs though.

I've never used one but the bus came with one. I can't wait to use it. I'll probably tick everyone off acting like a child for the first 5 minutes. I just want to say 10-4. 8-)

I can see it now. Jason is going to threaten to pull over the bus if I don't get out of his cockpit, go sit down and behave myself.

Awesome.

I either heard a song or saw a movie, I can't remember, where this guy said, "That's a big 10-4 big (uh, man part)" and I was a little tipsy when I heard it and thought it was hilarious and I've wanted to say it over CB to truckers ever since and never got the chance till now. Mainly cause my dad forbade me to get one cause he knew I'd trash talk the truckers and since he's been a diesel mechanic at a trucking company for the past 30 years, he seemed to think they would hunt me down. :?

(by the way, I tried to google that phrase to see if I could figure out where I heard it...I wasn't thinking...the results weren't entirely helpful... :o  )
